G.O.A.L. Program Presented by Phantoms meLVin
Dan Fremuth, Relations Manager for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and meLVin, the Phantoms mascot, visited the children of Lincoln Early Childhood Center on Friday, January 23. Dan and meLVin spoke to the children about their G.O.A.L. program which encourages children to get 60 minutes of exercise every day, as well as, taking part in healthy eating habits.
G.O.A.L stands for Get Out And Live and is outlined with these five concepts:

Smart Start- Eating a healthy Breakfast
60 minute Power Play- Playing and being active
Strive for 5- Eating from the 5 food groups
Cap the Screen- Limiting the amount of TV and video playing time
Clear Choice- Drinking water instead of soda or other high sugar products

The assembly was very informative as well as interactive for all student participants. Dan, meLVin and the LV Phantoms did an outstanding job of reaching out to the students of Lincoln and providing them with a very entertaining and meaningful assembly.
Additionally, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms were gracious enough to donate tickets, t-shirts and Phantoms gear as a raffle basket for Lincoln’s Winter Family Night in December.
The Phantoms and their mascot are doing great works around Allentown and the Lehigh Valley. It is wonderful to see one of our newest additions to Allentown already giving back to the community.
